San Diego Loves Haiti

April 8, 2010

sdlh_blogLast week, CR had the privilege of meeting with a group that is currently organizing a benefit concert for Haiti. They told us their story of how sitting back and watching the images and news reports of devastation, displacement, and death left them with a feeling of helplessness.

“This is where San Diego Loves Haiti vision was born. A group of concerned citizens from throughout San Diego County came together voluntarily and formed San Diego Loves Haiti. We knew that if we could bring the people and businesses of San Diego County together we could raise enough money to do something substantial and lasting for the people of the Republic of Haiti.”–Sandiegoloveshaiti.org

CR was asked to get involved with their efforts to help Haiti. The San Diego Loves Haiti benefit concert will be instrumental in constructing a hospital, a school and an orphanage for Haiti with Promise Child. The concert event will be coming to Qualcomm Stadium in June of this year.
