El Camino

March 30, 2010

El CaminoThe trendy “Super Cocina Mexicana” favorite, which originally hails from South Park in San Diego, has recently expanded to nicely placed corner in Little Italy making for the El Camino’s second location. One of our resident designers–Damin–commented on the finite details that are intricately woven into the overall presentation and atmosphere. “The place is polished; they have done a really good job with their design, everything from the floor up has been mindfully placed–at least from a creative perspective–which plays a lot into their consistent brand and defined look.” He recommends the tacos, carne asada actually, they come four to a plate along with rice and beans. If your looking to explore an unique, design worthy new eatery, the El Camino “Super Cocina Mexicana” is the new current, open everyday at 5 pm. You can see what we are mean at: 2400 India Street OR visit them here.

Zeris Design Project

IMG_3807LBCRstudioSrgbZeris is currently at work documenting the sophisticate urban lifestyle and architecture of San Diego metro area in a project called: modern San Diego. This project, which is an intimate part of his graduate studies at Brooks Institute, seeks to tastefully tell the story of San Diego’s modern architecture influences, the state of the current urban rejuvenation as well as possible future directions that might evolve. A key component to the project–notes Zeris–is producing an inclusive photographic survey of the cities distinguished modern style. CR was honored to have Zeris Design Project photograph our environment as part of a stylistic representation of a modern San Diego workspace. If you would like to find out more about his project you can do so here; our hats are off to the Zeris and his superb imagery work. See the complete photo set after the jump.
